Kostiantyn Simeiko
In 2011, Kostiantyn Simeiko graduated from the National Aviation University of the MES of Ukraine, majoring in “Chemical Technology of Fuel and Carbon Materials” and obtained the qualification of Researcher (Chemical Technologies), educational and qualification level is Master’s degree. In 2010, he graduated from the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the National Aviation University of the MES of Ukraine, majoring in “Economics of the enterprise” and obtained the qualification of economist, educational and qualification level is specialist (second higher education).
He started his scientific activity in 2011 at the Gas Institute of the NAS of Ukraine as a leading engineer. In the same Institute, he completed postgraduate studies (2014), and later – doctoral studies (2020). He obtained the scientific degree of Ph.D. in Technical Sciences in 2014, and in 2011 – Doctor of Technical Sciences. In the period 2021–2022, he carried out pedagogical activities as a professor (part-time) of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the National Aviation University of the MES of Ukraine. In 2022, he started working at the Institute for Safety Problems of Nuclear Power Plants of the NAS of Ukraine as the Head of the Sector. Since 2023, he has been working as an acting Academic Secretary and Head of the Laboratory. He has 83 publications, including 1 monograph and 15 patents.
Kostiantyn Simeiko completed an internship at the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the fuel and energy complex, nuclear safety and nuclear policy (2017), as well as the department for ensuring relations between the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of the Administration of the President of Ukraine (2017-2018).
Currently, he is the Head of the scientific and analytical section of the public organization “Ukrainian Nuclear Society”, the Deputy Head of the Council of Young Scientists at the Department of Physical and Technical Problems of Power Engineering of the NAS of Ukraine, an expert of the Ukrainian National Committee of the Council on Large Electric Power Systems “CIGRE”, the Head of the organizing committee of the International Conference ” Prospects for the introduction of innovations in nuclear energy “, co-founder of the “Scientific Meetings” Lecture Hall.
Kostiantyn Simeiko has the following awards and honors: Jubilee Certificate of Honor of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine (2018), laureate of the Award for Young Scientists of the President of Ukraine (2020), award of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine for Young Scientists “Talent, Inspiration, Work” (2021), two Acknowledgments of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine (2022), Certificate of the public organization “Ukrainian Nuclear Society” (2022).
